It is that time again...time for Christmas sewing!

Last year, a very dear friend of mine was going through an extremely difficult time in her life.  She asked me if I would be interested in making Christmas stockings for her and her 4 girls...well...OF COURSE!!

I love to sew and especially love to sew for others, so I jumped all over this.  She gave me a color scheme and gave me full reign of the project.

Here is how the stockings ended up...

I made each of them a little different, but used the same fabrics throughout.  The black is an awesome thick corduroy and the red is a soft wale corduroy.  I matched those two up with a french toile in cream and black.
I love how they turned out.  Oh, and the cuffs are monogrammed in coordinating colors all in the same font...Whimsey...one of my favorites!

Thanks for stopping by, and Merry Christmas!!

  1. So beautiful! I love the toile! And the corduroy is especially wintery! Perfect. Great job!

  2. Hi! I featured your project today! Hope you can stop by and grab a button! Have a great New Year!

  3. Those came out wonderfully. Love the fabrics and contrast.
